On 7 September 2022, ZCCM Investments Holdings Plc (hereafter "ZCCM-IH"), Vedanta Resources Limited, Vedanta Resources Holdings Limited (hereafter "Vedanta"), and Konkola Copper Mines Plc (hereafter "KCM") Provisional Liquidator entered into a written agreement to suspend the hearing of the disputes between them to pursue amicable settlement of the disputes.

The parties have since been engaged in ex-curia discussions to resolve the disputes and have reached a significant milestone. As part of the resolution, all disputes between the parties have been resolved and all proceedings relating to the disputes will be withdrawn with each party bearing their own costs.
